Sindoh 3DWOX DP200 3D Printer

Looking for the best 3D printer isn’t exactly easy to do, because there are so many different ones on the market and to make matters worse, they all hype up their features and claim to be the best.

This makes it hard to find the ones that really are the best. That is where I come into play – I took the time to do a lot of research and am here to tell you about a 3D printer I discovered by Sindoh.

About Sindoh

Back before 3D printers increased in popularity, Sindoh was creating regular 2D printers, so you may have heard of the company before. This is a south Korean company that has been around for quite some time and is pretty popular in the niche. This company was founded back in 1960.

Over the last couple of years, this company has been creating 3D printers, like the 3DWOX DP201 and the 3DWOX DP200. The first one has a bigger number, but it isn’t as good as the other one and it even retails at the same price – the 201 is lacking a heated bed and can only print PLA. The Sindoh 3DWOX DP200, on the other hand, has a heated bed and can print with a number of different filaments. In my opinion, it is the more capable 3D printer of the two and that is why I chose to do an in-depth review on it.

This Sindoh 3D printer has a nice closed-boxed design that looks pretty nice wherever you place it. It’s a grey/blue color scheme, which in my opinion is pretty neat looking, but it may not be suitable for everyone. There’s no openings to humidity and temperature fluctuations, which means you’ll get top of the line printing and the chances of a problem with printing decreases.

There’s a filter located on the rear of the box – it helps push the harmful fumes that ABS puts off, which is a nice bonus to the printer.

On the right side of the interior space, you’ll find a slot that holds the proprietary filament cartridges. There’s detachable print beds that you can easily slide in and out of their mount and the 5-inch color touchscreen that makes it even easier to use.

Some reviewers have stated that the print monitoring camera has been placed at an awkward position, which is understandable. If you are looking to watch your creations come to life in front of your eyes, then you might be a tad bit disappointed here as it isn’t going to happen like you want it. However, this isn’t really all that big of a deal.

Looking at the different features nesting behind this 3D printer, we find many interesting ones. Starting out, you have the filament cartridge system. You can load filament into the printer simply be inserting a cartridge, just like you would a normal printer.

There’s an internal LED light that helps the picture, but the camera is low resolution and the print head gets in the way, so as I previously stated, you’re not going to get to see the print taking place.

Sindoh is the type of company that believes 3D printing should be super easy, and this becomes obvious when we see that the printer offers fully automated loading. I’m not sure if you’re familiar with other 3D printers, but many of them have a process that requires you to change the filament, which is difficult and involved cutting and placing filament into small openings manually. This printer right here has eliminated that difficult procedure and everything is automated. All you have to do is insert the cartridge and you will be on your way to making beautiful prints in no time at all …yes, it really is that easy.

The assisted bed leveling is another feature that really stands out from the crowd – for perfect prints, it’s important that the print bed is leveled. Think of it like building a home on a slanted surface – you wouldn’t want to do that, would you? Just as you wouldn’t want to print on a slanted surface. Bed leveling is important and Sindoh has made sure it is simple with this printer – it does the work and gives clear instructions to set the perfect level.

All in all, the Sindoh DP200 3D printer might be a suitable option if you’re looking for a high quality printer that is capable of printing with a wide array of material. I highly recommend this printer to anyone that is looking for a great 3D printer.
